One I am so sorry for not remembering to post this sooner- there is too much deadline stress in my life that I completely forgot the first of the month blogging. Two, where has this year gone? It’s just been a whirlwind and I cannot believe its advent calendar time already.

·         Karl Lagerfield launched diffusion line ‘K Karl Lagerfield’ on December 15, 2006.

·         Diana von Furstenberg among other American designers created oufits for Barbie; which could be purchased in full human-size so you could match your doll. Launched on December 8, 2006.

Swarovski crystal dress by Ralph & Russo

Swarovski have put the sparkle into Christmas. The Swarovski dress, designed by Ralph and Russo costs £230,000 and is embellished with an amazing 152,000 crystals. As part of the Harrods Crystal inspired Christmas display, the dress will be the centre piece of the Swarovski section in the store. The dress inspired by the decadence of the twenties.

SURVEY- Princess fashion (university work).

I have another survey… This ones on princess, floaty, girly fashion that seems to have sprung up for Christmas and yes you guessed it- Spring! I know they are super annoying but I would really appreciate if you could take a minute and fill it out- it’s for uni, thanks so much!!

Red Carpet

Taylor Swift- Zuhair Murad at AAMs

ZuhairMurad has to be one of my favourite red carpet designers and he keeps things sweet with this design worn by Taylor Swift. Many of his red carpet designs are full-length gown, but this beaded mini from his pre- Spring/Summer 2013 collection is just beautiful. Taylor accesorrised is with Neil Lane jewellery and Jimmy Choo sandals- perfect for the glam evening that was the Aniniversary American Music Awards, held in LA.

To the Rome Film Festival premiere of Judge Archer, actress Li Chengyuan wore a Dolce& Gabbana dress. The black lace, baroque design had an air of sexiness with the lace covering and I think the black went great with her pale complexion. She finished her look with classic Mary Jane courts and a baroque, jewelled style headpiece.

Like Taylor Swift, star Ginnifer Goodwin took cute and sweetness to new levels at the American Music Awards. The pale pink pre- Spring/summer 2013 Oscar de la Renta design has shape and texture in a very elegant style. Mixed with silver Jimmy Choo sandals and a Judith Leiber clutch also in silver, the look was elegant and feminine.

Personally, despite liking them I think jumpsuits are hard to wear, and too often worn wrong. Diane Kruger however wore a navy blue Jason Wu spring/summer 2013 one and looked stunning. To attend the Jaeger-LeCoultre Place Vendome boutique opening in Paris, she let the jumpsuit do the talking wearing minimalist black sandals and carrying a little, gold box clutch.

Kate Moss wore Yves Saint Laurent spring/summer 2013 collection for the book signing of: The Kate Moss Book at Colette in Paris. I love the tassel necklace with the black, chffon shirt. I think the supermodel looks glowing, happy and healthy here- it’s good to see!

Designer Pudsey... CHILDREN IN NEED 2012

So, Children in Need doesn’t ever shy away from glamour- many celebs get behind in a mist of sequins, sparkles and spectacles. This year though, it’s upped its glamour game with designer couturiers designing their very own Pudsey bear to be auctioned for the charity. Of course, a wonderful cause and some very unique designs.

New coat

I must admit not really being a fan of winter, I don't espicially love coats. They can just be such a pain and quite honestly hide your outfit.

However, I did find a lovely little jacket for this winter. For me, it's perfect being warm, fashionable and being a jacket hides less of your outfit. The Barber style jacket in khaki has a checked hood, handy pockets and is suprisingly warm.

All I can say, is thank you Dorothy Perkins.
