Red Carpet Triumphs

Emma Watson never fails to delight with her red carpet outfits. Ahead of the fashion she wows in Jason Wu from his Spring/Summer 2012 at the London premiere of ‘My week with Marilyn’ (image below). Emma gives the classical monochrome look an update mixing the Jason Wu top with a black short pencil skirt. The top which has a feathering detail nips in at Emma’s tiny waist with a black belt with bow decaration and then flairs out as the top is gathered and pleated here. She wears amazing high shoes with a thin, stiletto heel and adds a twist of leopard print with her little clutch.

Actress Freida Pinto wore an Antonio Berardi Spring/summer 2012 gown to the premiere of Immortals (again image below). The dress fitted Freida hourglass silhouette beautifully. The bodice embroidery was perfect for an occasion like a red carpet. I love the train on this dress and the contrast between the fabrics at her hips. The top of the dress at the neckline and shoulders is very unique. Frieda has kept the rest of her ensemble simple choosing a little sparkling bracelet and a very sophisticated updo.

I have a little love for the 1920s fashion; particularly the amazing flapper dresses! Camilla Belle wore a Gucci Spring/ Summer 2012 flapper dress at LACMA Art and Film Gala (once again image below). The dress looked stunning on her and the black, white and gold colour scheme looked great with her tan. I love the glittering, sparkles on the dress- actually I love it all… I WANT IT!
